About me
Brian Grochal is an experienced professional in product safety, quality, and compliance, currently serving as the Director of Safety and Quality at BARK since May 2022. A former Board Member of the International Consumer Product Health and Safety Organization (ICPHSO), Brian engages with global professionals to enhance consumer product safety practices.
Prior roles include Director of Quality and Compliance at DockATot, where Brian established safety programs during significant product expansion, and Innovation & Technical Services Manager for Children’s Products at UL, where Brian directed business strategy and served as a technical authority. Previous experience includes compliance management at Maclaren, product compliance engineering at 4moms, patent analysis at Epsilon Patent Searching, and CAD design at Marlin Steel Wire Products.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia and additional education from John Cook School of Business and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
